

A. Revanth Reddy has released Rythu Bharosa financial assistance to nearly 40 lakh farmers as part of agricultural investment support. The funds were disbursed during a farmers’ festival held at Nusturupalli village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district under the Praja Palana–Pragati programme. The Chief Minister participated in a farmers’ rally before officially transferring the funds by pressing a button at the public meeting.
On the occasion, ₹2,200 crore was credited to farmers’ accounts, taking the total disbursement under the scheme to ₹5,700 crore so far, with another ₹3,300 crore planned for next month. Addressing the gathering, Revanth Reddy emphasized that farmers are the backbone of the nation and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to their welfare. He highlighted initiatives such as farm loan waivers benefiting over 25.35 lakh farmers and ongoing irrigation projects aimed at strengthening the agricultural sector.
