Uncertainty continues over the second round of talks between the United States and Iran. In the middle of this situation, US President Donald Trump made an interesting claim on his social media platform, Truth Social. He said that hundreds of Iranian oil ships are moving toward the United States. According to him, Iran’s leadership itself is pushing these ships so that the US can take their oil. He also mentioned that these ships may be heading to states like Texas, Louisiana and Alaska, but did not provide full details.
Trump also spoke strongly about the ongoing tensions. He said the United States would win if a conflict happens with Iran. At the same time, he criticized some American media outlets for spreading what he called false reports about the situation. He stated that US military operations are going very well and praised the performance of American forces.
He further said that restrictions on Iranian ships will continue until an agreement is reached, adding that the blockade is causing Iran a loss of about 500 million dollars per day. Trump expressed hope that Iran would come forward for talks through Pakistan. However, he warned that if Iran refuses negotiations, it could face serious consequences. He also repeated that Iran should not have nuclear weapons and said a deal would help the country rebuild its future.
