The Telangana government has initiated key measures for the development of the Kaleshwaram pilgrimage site. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy performed the Bhoomi Puja (groundbreaking ceremony) for the reconstruction and development works of the temple, undertaken at a cost of Rs 198 crores. On the same occasion, he also laid the foundation stone for the construction of an RTC model bus stand, estimated at Rs 3.71 crores. Several ministers, elected representatives, and officials participated in this event.
Upon the Chief Minister's arrival in Kaleshwaram in the evening, temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome with Purna Kumbham. Subsequently, he visited the Kaleshwara-Mukteshwara temple and performed special prayers. Later, accompanied by the ministers, he visited the Medigadda Barrage and conducted a review meeting with engineering officials regarding the ongoing works.
Following these events, the Chief Minister participated in and addressed a gathering at the 'Rythu Utsavam' (Farmers' Festival) held at Nasturpalli in Kataram Mandal. He affirmed that the government is committed to developing regional infrastructure alongside the development of the temple.
