US Preschool Fee Equals a Maruti Brezza

An Instagram video by Indian content creator Sonal Choudhary, who lives in Simsbury, Connecticut, has gone viral after revealing the cost of a private preschool in the United States. While visiting the school for her two year old daughter Bani's admission, she shared details about the curriculum, teacher-student ratio, and facilities offered by the institution.

The preschool has two teachers for every group of eight children and focuses on activities such as music, yoga, creative play, and early learning. The annual fee is around ₹4 lakh for a two day a week program and nearly ₹9 lakh for a five day program, comparable to the price of a new Maruti Brezza in India. Sonal said the facilities and individual attention made the fee seem reasonable, sparking discussions on the cost of early childhood education in the US.
