The Andhra Pradesh government has provided relief to job aspirants who migrated from Telangana to the state. Eligible candidates will now be allowed to apply for government jobs without submitting a migration certificate. This relaxation applies to those who migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh before June 1, 2024. The decision is expected to benefit several candidates seeking government employment in Andhra Pradesh.
The relaxation will apply to recruitment conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the Police Department and the Medical Board, as well as DSC teacher appointments. However, Chief Secretary Sai Prasad clarified that candidates must submit documents establishing their local status. Although the migration certificate requirement has been waived for eligible applicants, the prescribed documents related to local status remain mandatory.
