Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reaffirmed that the state government's primary agenda is development and said the next two-and-a-half years would be dedicated to accelerating Telangana’s growth. Speaking at the Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth ₹1,674.74 crore, including the new Cyberabad Municipal Corporation headquarters. He emphasized that Hyderabad would be developed through a structured and long-term vision, keeping in mind the challenges faced by major metropolitan cities across India.
The Chief Minister announced the construction of an international-standard bus terminal across 100 acres at Gajularamaram in the Malkajgiri region, with work expected to begin within three months. He also outlined plans for Metro Rail expansion, Musi River rejuvenation, the Regional Ring Road, radial roads, and large-scale housing projects for low and middle-income groups. Stressing the need for decentralised governance, he explained the reorganization of the Hyderabad urban region into Greater Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri municipal corporations to improve civic administration and infrastructure delivery.
