The Andhra Pradesh government is set to begin the application process for new NTR Bharosa pensions. Applications will be accepted through Swarna Gram and Swarna Ward Secretariats, providing an opportunity for eligible people who are waiting to receive pension benefits.
Senior citizens, widows, persons with disabilities, single women, toddy workers, handloom workers and fishermen, among other eligible categories, can apply subject to the applicable government rules. The application and eKYC process is scheduled to begin from September 7.
Applicants need to submit the required documents, including a Rice Card or income certificate and Aadhaar. Persons with disabilities may need to provide a Sadarem certificate, while widows may be required to submit their husband’s death certificate.
The application will be submitted online with the assistance of the Digital Assistant at the concerned Secretariat. Applicants should collect the acknowledgement slip after completing the application. Following submission, officials will conduct field-level verification. New pensions will be sanctioned after the verification process is completed and eligibility is confirmed.
Note: Applicants should verify the latest eligibility criteria, document requirements and application schedule with their local Secretariat or official government authorities before submitting their application.
