

Bigg Boss hosts appear mainly during the weekend episodes, but their role is considered crucial to the show’s format and popularity. With the latest Telugu season beginning on September 6, discussions about the remuneration of hosts across different languages have resurfaced. According to media reports, Bollywood star Salman Khan is reportedly the highest-paid Bigg Boss host, earning more than Rs 15 crore per weekend episode and up to around Rs 125 crore for a season. Tamil host Vijay Sethupathi is reportedly paid around Rs 75–80 crore, while Telugu host Nagarjuna is said to receive approximately Rs 35–40 crore for a season.
Reports further suggest that Malayalam host Mohanlal earns around Rs 30 crore, while Kannada host Kichcha Sudeep is reportedly paid around Rs 20 crore. Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is hosting Bigg Boss Bengali for the first time this season, with reports claiming that his four-year deal could be worth around Rs 125 crore. These figures are based on media reports and have not been officially confirmed by the respective hosts or the show’s makers.
