Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 witnessed a dramatic start to its first day, with disagreements and heated exchanges breaking out soon after the contestants settled into the house. The major confrontation unfolded between Rohith Naidu and Thrigun during the process of selecting contestants for the Magical Keys. From there, Thrigun appeared to repeatedly question Rohith’s participation in various activities, turning their differences into one of the major talking points of the episode.
The Magical Keys became the centre of the first major task. Eight contestants had already secured keys, and Bigg Boss asked them to collectively select two more contestants. After an intense discussion, Vamsi and Krishnudu were selected and received the remaining keys. Rohith was also criticised by some housemates for not participating in the water task, with Thrigun repeatedly raising the issue. Meanwhile, disagreements emerged over household responsibilities, including kitchen and cleaning duties, adding to the tension inside the house.
The Magical Keys came with individual powers, introducing a new strategic dimension to the game. Thrigun received the ‘Take Over’ power, allowing him to take another contestant’s power. Jhansi received a power that could potentially save her from elimination, while Mukesh could reverse another contestant’s power. Varshini received the ‘Grab Any Win’ power, Krishnudu got a swap-related power, Shalini received the authority to assign duties, Srishti could directly nominate a contestant, Ram Prasad received a Safe Shield, and Naresh got the power to cast double votes during nominations. Contestants were warned not to disclose their powers to others.
Bigg Boss subsequently made it clear that the contestants had not yet attained Housemate status and that achieving that status would be the primary challenge of the week. Although there would reportedly be no nominations during the initial stage, an elimination would still take place. Contestants were asked to divide themselves into two teams and select leaders capable of taking them from a high-risk position to a no-risk position. The Agni Pareeksha contestants largely backed Rohith, while the celebrity group supported Ram Prasad and Thrigun.
The discussion over leadership further intensified the rivalry between Rohith and Thrigun. Thrigun alleged that the Agni Pareeksha contestants were functioning as a group, while Shalini, Srishti and others defended their decision to support Rohith, saying they had observed his game and chosen him accordingly. Eventually, Ram Prasad was selected as the leader of the Blue Team and Rohith as the leader of the Red Team. The episode ended on a high note, setting the stage for more strategic battles and confrontations in the days ahead.
