BRS Issues Three-Line Whip to MLCs Ahead of Telangana Assembly Session

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has issued a three-line whip to its Members of the Legislative Council ahead of the Assembly proceedings. The decision comes against the backdrop of the controversy surrounding BRS MLC Thatha Madhu’s remarks, with the possibility of the issue being discussed in the House. The party’s directive is aimed at ensuring that its MLCs remain present and vote in accordance with the official party position during the proceedings. Any further action on the controversy is expected to be considered in the course of the Assembly session.
