A video of a 15 year old girl apologising to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone viral on social media. The girl, who allegedly made objectionable remarks against the Prime Minister during a student protest against a paper leak, said she was influenced by others and deeply regretted her words. She admitted that her comments were wrong, apologised to the nation, and promised that she would never repeat such a mistake.
A case was registered against the girl at a Noida police station and later transferred to the Parliament Street Police Station in Delhi through a Zero FIR. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi shared a video on Instagram saying he forgives students who made such remarks, adding that mistakes can happen at a young age. The girl’s mother also expressed regret over the incident and said the family had already submitted an apology letter to the police.
