South Korea-based LG Electronics has identified India as a key market for its future growth strategy. The company aims to double its revenue from India, Saudi Arabia, and Brazil by 2030, driven by rising demand in fast-growing economies. With India’s expanding consumer base and economic growth, LG expects strong demand for appliances like refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners, especially with the introduction of AI-powered features.
To strengthen its presence, LG plans to expand manufacturing capacity in India, with existing plants in Greater Noida and Pune, and a new facility coming up in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, expected to be operational by 2026. The company is also focusing on exports to Asia, Africa, and developed markets, while increasing its presence in premium segments and investing in R&D and smart connected appliances.
