YSRCP MPs Submit Memorandum to Amit Shah

A delegation of YSRCP MPs met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and submitted a memorandum alleging that the Andhra Pradesh government is misusing the police machinery and legal provisions to target political opponents. The delegation claimed that multinational companies, including Bharathi Cements and French group Vicat, are being intimidated and their operations are being obstructed. They also alleged large-scale irregularities in the Mega DSC teacher recruitment process and demanded a fair and impartial CBI investigation into the matter.

The MPs further expressed concern over the security arrangements for former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. They alleged that despite lakhs of people attending his public outreach programmes, the state government has failed to provide adequate police protection to the Leader of the Opposition. The delegation urged the Centre to intervene immediately to safeguard democracy and ensure public safety in the state. YSRCP leader V. Vijayasai Reddy said Amit Shah responded positively to the issues raised during the meeting.
