Telangana Governor and Wife Offer Prayers at Charminar’s Bhagyalakshmi Temple on Diwali

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and his wife, Janaki Shukla, visited the renowned Sri Bhagyalakshmi Temple near Charminar in Hyderabad on Sunday morning, November 8, 2026, to mark the Diwali festival. Upon their arrival, the Governor and his wife were welcomed by the temple priests.

The couple then offered prayers and performed special rituals at the temple. On the occasion, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla expressed his wish for the country and Telangana to prosper with the blessings of the Goddess. He also prayed for the happiness, good health and well-being of all people.
