Tamil cinema’s latest Diwali release, ‘Seen’, starring Suriya in the lead role, is reportedly attracting impressive audience attention at the box office. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the crime comedy thriller also features Nazriya Fahadh and Naslen in important roles. According to the reported BookMyShow figures, the film sold more than 578,000 tickets on its first day, followed by approximately 574,000 tickets on the second day. The slight difference between the two days indicates that audience interest has remained strong.
Suriya’s performance, along with the film’s music and screenplay, is reportedly working in its favour. Interestingly, the film has also surpassed the first-Saturday BookMyShow ticket sales of Suriya’s ‘Viswanath & Sons’, which recorded 506,000 tickets, with ‘Seen’ selling around 574,000 tickets. Despite facing competition from the big-budget film ‘Ramayana’, the movie is continuing its impressive run. The upcoming weekend is expected to further influence its box office performance.
