Before leaving for his London tour, CM Chandrababu Naidu visited the TDP central office in Mangalagiri. During his visit, he met with party leaders, gave directions, and personally received petitions from citizens. Most of these complaints were related to irregularities in the Revenue Department - especially corruption in registrar offices.
Without issuing any warnings, CM Chandrababu swiftly acted. Following his quiet review, ACB teams were deployed across Andhra Pradesh, raiding multiple registrar offices in one go. Huge sums of unaccounted cash were seized, and several officials faced cases for malpractice.
This sudden crackdown sent shockwaves through the Revenue Department. Unlike in the past, when officials were warned first, this time the Chief Minister went straight to action — signaling zero tolerance for corruption.
Through this bold move, Chandrababu conveyed two clear messages:
There’s no room for corruption in public service.
No one, regardless of their position, will be spared.
With over a thousand complaints received about registrar offices, the CM’s decisive step has earned widespread praise. Citizens are applauding the move, calling it “Classic Chandrababu Style” of governance.
