Some People Will Never Be Forgiven by History - Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said history would never forgive certain people for their actions. Speaking in the Telangana Assembly on Wednesday, he alleged that the main opposition had acted with a planned strategy from the first day of the session to prevent discussions on past mistakes. He claimed that issues involving government lands, fee reimbursement, drought and alleged rituals would have come up for discussion. Revanth Reddy said the Congress government treats every girl equally and is committed to protecting their dignity. He added that the government aims to make one crore women financially empowered.

Revanth Reddy said respecting the Speaker is a tradition followed by members and that the Speaker is responsible for protecting the rights of every legislator in the House. He said the rules governing the conduct of the Assembly were framed during the previous government and that the Speaker issued orders in accordance with those rules. He said police implemented the Speaker’s directions at Gate No. 3. Responding to opposition references to Rahul Gandhi wearing a black T-shirt in Parliament, he said the Lok Sabha Speaker had not imposed similar restrictions there. Revanth Reddy alleged that the BRS members were suspended after incidents involving alleged abusive remarks against the Speaker, protests and violations of the House’s rules.
