

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has warmly welcomed the commencement of operations of the South Coast Railway Zone from Visakhapatnam. He described the development as a landmark milestone that will enhance connectivity, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate economic growth across Andhra Pradesh. As the 18th zone of Indian Railways, the South Coast Railway Zone is expected to strengthen rail infrastructure, boost regional connectivity, and ensure balanced development across all regions of the state.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Pawan Kalyan said the establishment of the railway zone fulfills a long-standing aspiration of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He termed the occasion a proud and historic moment for the state, highlighting its potential to drive progress, create opportunities, and contribute to the state's overall development.
