Janasena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has reportedly made an organisational change in the Narsipatnam constituency of the erstwhile Visakhapatnam district ahead of the local body elections. According to the report, Rajana Suryachandra has been removed from his responsibilities as constituency coordinator with immediate effect. Complaints were reportedly submitted to the party’s central office over the party’s organisational performance and a lack of coordination among alliance partners. The report also points to dissatisfaction among local party workers as a factor behind the decision.
Following the change, Anakapalli MLA Konathala Ramakrishna and Pendurthi MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu have reportedly been assigned additional responsibilities for Narsipatnam. The two senior leaders are expected to oversee local party affairs and improve coordination among leaders and cadres. The development comes as parties work to finalise candidates following the completion of municipal election nominations, with efforts reportedly underway to persuade additional nominees to withdraw in constituencies where alliance candidates have been selected. The move has sparked discussion within local Janasena circles. Official confirmation and further details from the party have not been included in the supplied report.
