Apple’s Foldable iPhone Sells Out Within Minutes

Apple’s popularity in India’s smartphone market was evident once again as its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, sold out within minutes of going on sale through Blinkit in Delhi-NCR. Sales began at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, and Blinkit founder Albinder Dhindsa confirmed that all available units were sold out within five minutes. However, he did not disclose how many devices had been listed for sale. Dhindsa said the company was working to bring more units into stock in the coming weeks.

The iPhone Duo is priced from ₹2,99,900 for the 256GB variant, while the top-end 2TB model costs ₹4,49,900. Its features include a 7.6-inch foldable inner display, a 5.4-inch outer screen, an A20 Pro chipset, a dual 48MP camera system and a titanium frame. Storage options range from 256GB to 2TB. The rapid sell-out has sparked surprise and discussion among consumers, particularly given the phone’s premium price. However, the limited stock selling out quickly does not reveal the total number of devices sold.
