Special Schedule for Finalising Reservations in Andhra Pradesh

Authorities in Andhra Pradesh have prepared a special schedule for finalising reservations in four municipal corporations and 19 municipalities. As part of the process, a door-to-door survey will be conducted ward-wise on October 25 and 26 to identify Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC) and women voters.

The draft electoral rolls will be published on October 27, while complaints and objections regarding the lists will be accepted on October 28. The final electoral rolls are scheduled to be announced on October 29. The exercise is intended to collect the information required for finalising reservations in the concerned urban local bodies.
