CPI Narayana strongly criticized India’s foreign policy, questioning the country’s silence on ongoing global conflicts. He said that despite being the world’s largest democracy, India’s inaction on issues like the attacks involving United States, Israel, and Iran is disappointing and shameful. He expressed concern over the loss of innocent lives and asked whether India should remain a silent spectator in such critical situations.
Narayana also pointed out that Pakistan is attempting mediation while India remains passive. He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the effectiveness of his international visits if they do not translate into meaningful intervention during crises. Recalling past global respect for India during Indira Gandhi’s era, he said the current situation reflects a decline in leadership and missed diplomatic opportunities.
