BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that political anger should not be directed at the handloom workers of Sircilla. Speaking at a BRS party meeting in Sircilla, he alleged that the Congress government had cancelled several welfare schemes and halted orders for Bathukamma sarees, affecting local small-scale handloom industries.
He further alleged that there is a shortage of gunny bags for farmers and claimed that resources were misused, while accusing the government of failing to implement its “100-day promises even after 900 days.” KTR also criticized cases being filed against those questioning the government and said that in the upcoming elections, voters across all 119 constituencies should support K. Chandrashekar Rao, adding that KCR should return as Chief Minister.
