Afghanistan's star leg-spinner Rashid Khan has created history in international cricket by becoming the first bowler to claim 200 wickets in men's T20 Internationals. He achieved the remarkable milestone during the second T20I against Zimbabwe at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 29. Rashid picked up one wicket for 29 runs in his four overs, dismissing Zimbabwe batter Tadiwanashe Marumani to reach the historic landmark. Notably, he achieved the feat in just 120 T20I appearances, setting a new benchmark in the shortest format of international cricket.
With this achievement, Rashid has strengthened his position at the top of the all-time leading wicket-takers list in men's T20 Internationals. England's Adil Rashid occupies second place with 171 wickets from 153 matches, 29 behind the Afghan spinner. Rashid's latest milestone further highlights his consistency and impact in international T20 cricket, adding another significant achievement to his already impressive career.
