Team India has established complete dominance in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, securing an unassailable 3-0 lead with two matches still remaining. The fourth T20I is scheduled to take place at Eden Park in Auckland, beginning at 12:30 PM Indian Standard Time. India will aim to maintain its winning momentum and move closer to a clean sweep. Having already secured the series, the team management may also use the remaining matches to test different combinations and give opportunities to players who have not featured so far.
Wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan is available for selection after recovering from a thigh injury that kept him out of the previous two matches. His return could affect Vaibhav Suryavanshi's place in the playing XI. Suryavanshi struggled in the second match but made a strong comeback in the third, scoring 44 runs alongside Abhishek Sharma. Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar's recent bowling performances have raised concerns. He conceded 40 runs without taking a wicket in the third match and has given away 99 runs across the first two games. Mayank Yadav is another option, although the management could give Bhuvneshwar another opportunity. Shivam Dube and Suryavanshi may also be considered if India decides to experiment with its winning combination.
