New Zealand produced a sensational batting performance in the fourth T20 International against India, posting a massive total of 259/7 in 20 overs and setting the hosts a challenging target of 260 runs. Glenn Phillips was the star of the innings, smashing a spectacular century off just 49 balls, including six fours and 10 sixes, to score 107 runs. Michael Bracewell provided excellent support with a quickfire 61, while Finn Allen (31) and Daryl Mitchell (24) also made valuable contributions. However, Tim Seifert struggled once again and was dismissed for just three runs.
India's bowlers had an expensive outing, although Mayank Yadav impressed by claiming three wickets. Axar Patel, Prince Yadav, Arshdeep Singh and Nitish Kumar picked up one wicket each. Arshdeep also reached a personal milestone by dismissing Mitchell Santner to claim his 150th international T20 wicket. Nitish Kumar was particularly expensive, conceding 64 runs, including 32 runs in the 16th over alone. Prince Yadav gave away 49 runs, Mayank Yadav 48, Axar Patel 43 and Arshdeep Singh 38. With 260 runs required, India now face a formidable challenge in their chase.
