Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched sharp criticism against Union Minister Kishan Reddy over the Hyderabad Metro expansion issue. Speaking at a press conference at the Secretariat, he alleged that the Centre has been delaying funds for the second phase of the metro project due to Kishan Reddy’s interference, accusing him of obstructing development in the state.
He demanded clarity from the Centre on whether it will issue the necessary No Objection Certificate for the project and urged that development should not be linked with politics. The Chief Minister pressed for an immediate decision on fund release, even asking for clarity by the evening. The issue has now turned into a major political debate in Telangana.
