Congress senior leader and Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman G. Chinna Reddy has made strong allegations against Wanaparthy MLA Tudi Megha Reddy amid growing signs of internal differences within the party. Chinna Reddy alleged that Megha Reddy secured the party ticket by paying money and claimed that he was denied the ticket despite having the support of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi. These are allegations made by Chinna Reddy and have not been established as facts.
Chinna Reddy further alleged that development works in Wanaparthy were being stalled and that his supporters were being harassed. Warning of growing frustration, he said that if the situation continued, he too could rebel against the party like Jeevan Reddy. However, he made it clear that he would not leave the Congress and would continue to fight against what he described as wrongdoing within the party.
