Trent Rockets Secure a Dominant Victory Over SunRisers Leeds

Kavya Maran-owned SunRisers Leeds suffered a heavy defeat in the 2026 Women’s Hundred final at Lord’s. Trent Rockets produced a dominant all-round performance to register an eight-wicket victory and claim their maiden Women’s Hundred title. Batting first, SunRisers Leeds were bowled out for just 91, with Georgia Adams, Charley Phillips, Kim Garth and Samantha Bates taking two wickets each for the Rockets.

Chasing 92, Trent Rockets made the contest one-sided thanks to an explosive opening partnership between Sophia Dunkley and Beth Mooney. Dunkley smashed 41 off 23 balls, while Mooney remained unbeaten on 31. Their 69-run stand put the Rockets firmly in control. Captain Ash Gardner finished the chase with a boundary as Trent Rockets reached 92/2 in just 54 balls, sealing an eight-wicket victory with 46 balls to spare.
