

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu interacted with the media in the Assembly lobby and expressed serious concern over alleged irregularities in the APPSC Group-1 recruitment process. He said he had never witnessed a scam of this nature in his 50-year political career and noted that many meritorious students had suffered because of the alleged irregularities. He said the Assembly would discuss the Group-1 issue the day after tomorrow.
Naidu also spoke about the DSC recruitment issue, observing that women constitute a significant number of teachers selected through the process. He said DSC aspirants took to the streets out of self-respect. Further details on the government’s response to the Group-1 and DSC issues are expected during the Assembly discussion.
