Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman B. R. Naidu completed his first year in office, asserting that he had brought major administrative reforms and technological improvements in temple management. However, YSR Congress Party leader and former TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy strongly criticized Naidu’s performance, labeling it “inefficient” and “a total failure.”
Bhumana alleged that Naidu had failed to manage temple operations effectively, particularly in handling crowd management using AI-based systems. He further claimed that irregularities, including black-market sale of darshan tickets, had increased during Naidu’s tenure. He stated that despite tall claims of improved services, devotees continued to face difficulties, and the administration relied more on publicity than actual efficiency.
