

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that while Hyderabad’s Hitech City transformed the state, the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre will emerge as a game changer for the entire country. He laid the foundation stone for the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) buildings along with Union Minister Jitendra Singh, stating that the project will define India’s quantum future.
The Chief Minister explained that the Quantum Valley will focus on research and innovation in critical sectors such as defence, healthcare, energy, finance and climate modelling. He added that Amaravati is being developed as a deep-tech hub with initiatives like Drone City, Aerospace, MedTech and Space City, ensuring future-ready infrastructure and faster decision-making. He thanked companies like TCS and IBM for coming forward to support quantum computing initiatives in the state.
Chandrababu Naidu also announced plans to establish a university in Amaravati offering AI and Quantum AI courses. He urged students and institutions to be part of this journey, noting that the demand for quantum professionals will grow rapidly in the coming years. Emphasising youth-driven growth, he said Andhra Pradesh aims to prepare its students to compete globally in advanced technologies.
