Abhijeet Questions Over Cases Against Students

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement that he forgave students over alleged offensive remarks, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke questioned the Centre over the pending cases against them. Through a social media post, he asked whether the forgiveness was limited to a video message or if legal cases filed against the students would also be withdrawn. The issue gained attention after videos of certain remarks made during student protests at Jantar Mantar in Delhi went viral.

Prime Minister Modi responded through an Instagram video, stating that he forgave those who made remarks against him and his late mother, adding that society’s responsibility is to guide people rather than punish them. Reacting to the statement, Abhijeet Dipke said forgiveness alone was not enough and sought clarity on whether cases against the students would be cancelled. He also questioned whether different standards were being applied to youth and political leaders.
