Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has reported a record net profit of ₹29,550 crore for the September quarter, marking a 33.8% increase compared with the corresponding period last year. Its consolidated revenue rose 27.8% to a record ₹3.62 lakh crore. Strong refining margins in the Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C) business and growth in digital services contributed to the company's performance. RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said the O2C business delivered its best-ever quarterly performance despite global uncertainties.
Jio Platforms reported an 11.3% increase in revenue to ₹47,485 crore, while its net profit grew 13.7% to ₹8,387 crore. Jio's subscriber base reached 54.24 crore. Meanwhile, Reliance Retail's gross revenue increased 6.43% to ₹91,716 crore, but its net profit declined 24.3% to ₹2,611 crore. The retail business added 303 new stores during the quarter. Akash Ambani participated in RIL's quarterly investor call for the first time following Jio's listing. He said the company would continue investing in satellite communications, 6G intellectual property and AI-powered voice and data services.
