Reliance Jio is offering affordable voice-only recharge plans for customers who primarily use their mobile phones for voice calls and SMS services. The entry-level pack is priced at Rs. 147 and comes with a validity of 22 days. Unlike regular recharge plans, these packs do not include mobile data or additional benefits such as OTT subscriptions. They are particularly useful for feature phone users and customers who do not require mobile internet access.
A comparison with other telecom operators shows that Airtel’s voice-only plans start at Rs. 185 with 28 days of validity, while Vodafone Idea offers a similar plan starting at Rs. 179, also with 28 days of validity. Jio’s Rs. 147 pack is cheaper, but its validity is shorter at 22 days. Customers who use Wi-Fi for internet access can also consider these plans to reduce their mobile recharge expenses. Jio additionally offers voice-only plans priced at Rs. 448 for 84 days and Rs. 1,748 for 336 days.
