

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attended a Program organized by farmers in the Amaravati capital region following the Parliament’s approval of the Amaravati legitimacy bill. Addressing a Meeting at Uddandarayuni palem, he described the bill’s passage as a historic moment that reflects the strength of democracy and the will of the people. He said the day would be remembered in golden letters in the history of the nation.
The Chief Minister highlighted that Amaravati’s history and the sacrifices made by farmers would remain eternal. He noted that around 29,000 farmers voluntarily gave 33,000 acres of land for the capital, calling it a symbol of self respect for the people of Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with various political parties across the country, for supporting the bill. He also recalled the foundation ceremony and reaffirmed that Amaravati stands as a people’s capital achieved through determination.
