

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a comprehensive review of preparations for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu. Discussions focused on the development of major temples and Pushkar ghats along the Godavari stretch from Basara to Bhadrachalam. Officials presented detailed plans through a PowerPoint presentation, outlining works to be completed ahead of the 2027 June event. The Chief Minister directed the formation of a technical engineers’ committee to identify suitable locations for organizing the festival.
He instructed the committee to submit a field-level report within 15–20 days, which will then be reviewed by an officials’ committee and forwarded to the Cabinet Sub-Committee. Emphasis was laid on prioritizing both permanent and temporary works. The CM also ordered the setup of a dedicated war room at Praja Bhavan to ensure coordination among departments. He further directed expansion of ghats at key temples and tourist spots, along with improving road connectivity. Officials also briefed him on the master plan for the development and expansion of Basara Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple, on which he offered key suggestions.
