Amid the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across industries, concerns over job security are rising globally. Palantir Technologies CEO Alex Karp recently shared key insights on who is likely to thrive in the AI era. He noted that despite AI’s growing influence, certain groups of people will remain less vulnerable to job disruption.
According to Karp, individuals with vocational skills—such as mechanics, electricians, and technicians—are less likely to be replaced by AI due to the practical nature of their work. He also highlighted neurodivergent individuals as a second group that will excel, as they tend to think differently, innovate, and approach problems creatively.
He cautioned that traditional roles like basic coding, legal work, and routine reading and writing tasks are increasingly at risk, as AI can handle them efficiently. Therefore, professionals in these fields must upgrade their skills. Karp emphasized that creativity, originality, and the ability to think differently will be the most valuable assets in the future, ensuring success in an AI-driven world.
