

Yash, whose real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda, is one of the leading stars to emerge from Kannada cinema and establish a strong pan-India identity. His journey began with television serials such as Uttarayana and Nanda Gokula before he ventured into films. After making his silver-screen debut with Jambada Hudugi in 2007, Yash gradually built a following with films such as Googly and Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari. His performances earned him major recognition, including Filmfare and SIIMA honours. The success of KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2 transformed him into a nationwide star, while the title ‘Rocking Star’ and the iconic ‘Rocky Bhai’ identity became synonymous with him.
