

Mega Power Star Ram Charan held a special interaction with the team behind the film Rakasa, which was produced by him and Mega Daughter Niharika Konidela. Produced under the 'Pink Elephant Pictures' banner, the film was screened for him, and he praised it as being highly entertaining. He commended the work of debutant director Manasa Sharma as well as Sangeeth Shobhan's comedic timing. Crafted as a horror-comedy, the film also features actors such as Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji in key roles. Scheduled for a worldwide release on April 3rd, the movie is expected to provide excellent entertainment to audiences this summer. Buoyed by Ram Charan's encouragement, the Rakasa team is conducting its promotional activities with renewed enthusiasm.
In a video released on this occasion, Ram Charan also provided clarity regarding his upcoming film, Peddi. Addressing recent reports circulating on social media suggesting that the film’s release would be postponed, he refuted the rumors, categorically stating, "There is no delay with Peddi." He clarified that there is absolutely no truth to the speculation that the release date would be pushed to June due to delays in filming. He assured fans that work on the film is progressing according to a precise schedule and advised them not to give credence to unnecessary rumors.
Meanwhile, Peddi—which is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana—carries immense expectations. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with music composed by A.R. Rahman. Fans received a double treat as Charan, while attending the promotions for ‘Rakasa’, not only extended his support to Niharika’s film but also provided an update regarding his own movie.
