Metro Phase-2 Talks Begin !

Discussions are currently underway regarding the Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project in line with the Rail Policy introduced in May 2017. Metro rail projects are known to be highly expensive, and authorities are evaluating various aspects before proceeding. The proposed Phase-2 network is expected to be integrated with the existing Phase-1 network to improve connectivity.

A committee has requested the central government to provide technical guidance on the project. The Telangana government has been asked to choose one of the three options suggested by the Centre and communicate its decision. This move is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of urban transportation in Hyderabad.
