Tensions in West Asia continue to rise as Iran intensifies its retaliatory attacks across the Gulf region. Tehran reportedly launched missile strikes on U.S. military bases in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, resulting in injuries to several American troops and damage to fighter aircraft at the Prince Sultan Air Base. Meanwhile, multiple explosions were reported in various parts of Israel early Saturday, further escalating the conflict. Saudi Arabia also confirmed intercepting Iranian missiles and drones aimed at its capital, Riyadh, while commercial buildings in Kuwait suffered damage during the attacks.
Amid the escalating situation, Iran has agreed to allow humanitarian aid and agricultural shipments through the Strait of Hormuz following a request from the United Nations. The conflict, which began with Israeli strikes on Iran a month ago, continues to intensify. Israel stated that it targeted ballistic missile facilities, weapon production units, and nuclear related infrastructure in Iran, claiming significant damage to its nuclear program. In response, Iran warned of strong retaliation against Tel Aviv, raising fears of further escalation in the region.
