The Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to visit Uttar Pradesh on 28th March to inaugurate Phase I of the Noida International Airport, developed with an investment of around ₹11,200 crore. The airport is designed as a Multi-Modal Transport Hub, seamlessly integrating road, rail, metro, and regional transit systems.
The airport will also feature a Multi-Modal Cargo Hub capable of handling over 2.5 lakh metric tonnes annually, with potential expansion up to 18 lakh metric tonnes. Initially, it will accommodate 12 million passengers per annum, with the capacity to scale up to 70 million passengers in the future.
