

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Cinematography, Tourism, and Culture, Kandula Durgesh, announced that the prestigious Nandi Awards, which have been inactive for some time, will soon be revived. Speaking to the media in Visakhapatnam, the minister said the government has already initiated steps to restart the awards. He assured that the government will fully support and recognize artists from cinema, television, and theatre. He added that the revival of the Nandi Awards will bring renewed energy to the Telugu arts industry.
Durgesh also highlighted that Visakhapatnam offers excellent locations for film production and stated that efforts will be made to promote the city and attract more production houses. He reaffirmed that the government is committed to strengthening the film industry and supporting the growth of artists in the state.
