The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has expressed disappointment over the allocation of the IPL 2026 playoffs to venues other than Bengaluru. The association is unhappy that the city was not considered despite its preparedness.
Former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad was in touch with the Board of Control for Cricket in India and had formally conveyed KSCA’s readiness to host the playoffs. However, the decision has led to disappointment within the association.
