The Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam festival in Bhadrachalam was celebrated with great grandeur this year. Chief Minister Enumula Revanth Reddy, along with his spouse, participated in the ceremonial event. The celestial wedding of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy, held at the Mithila Stadium in Bhadrachalam, took place in the presence of thousands of devotees and was conducted with immense devotion and splendor. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and his wife, on behalf of the state government, offered silk garments and pearl talambralu to the deities. The rituals were performed in accordance with Vedic traditions amidst chanting of sacred hymns, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere for the Kalyanam.
At the Mithila Stadium, special pujas and elaborate decorations were carried out for Lord Sri Ramachandra Swamy and Goddess Sita as the wedding proceedings continued. The temple priests conducted all rituals in a traditional manner, while the Bhadrachalam temple was beautifully adorned. The premises were crowded with devotees, with thousands arriving from across the Telugu states to seek darshan of the deities. Due to the large turnout, authorities made extensive arrangements, ensuring drinking water, Annaprasadam, medical camps, and robust security measures so that devotees could have a smooth and comfortable experience.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Enumula Revanth Reddy visited the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam and offered his prayers. Subsequently, he performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the first phase of temple development works estimated at ₹351 crore. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Khammam district in-charge Minister Vakitri Srihari, Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Konda Surekha, MP Porika Balaram Naik, along with judges, Endowments Department officials, district Collector, SP, other public representatives, officials, media personnel and lakhs of devotees in large numbers.
