Centre’s Good News on Commercial Gas Supply

The central government has announced a major boost to commercial gas supply, increasing availability by 70 percent and bringing relief to various industries. With gas shipments arriving from overseas, the move is expected to ease the ongoing fuel shortage to some extent.

In this regard, the Union Petroleum Secretary has written to all state governments, informing them about the enhanced supply. The government stated that this step would ensure uninterrupted industrial operations and help meet rising energy demands across sectors.

Priority will be given to key industries such as steel, automobile, paints, chemicals, and plastics. Experts believe that this decision will not only support industrial growth but also strengthen the overall economy during challenging times.
