London, Today UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made a firm statement regarding the ongoing tensions involving Iran, making it clear that the United Kingdom will not be drawn into offensive military actions. Responding to growing global pressure, Starmer emphasized that the UK will not bow to any external influence from leaders like Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
He stated that the conflict is not Britain’s war and that no amount of pressure would push the country into launching attacks against Iran. The UK, he clarified, will remain in a defensive position. Starmer also remarked that there is no surprise in calls for a ceasefire, indirectly questioning the stance of those urging de-escalation after heightened tensions.
