A major controversy erupted in Sangareddy district after Lavanya, former girlfriend of actor Raj Tarun, allegedly created a scene under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred on Wednesday near Mallepally village in Kondapur mandal, where she reportedly rammed her car into a bike and later engaged in an argument with locals. The episode quickly went viral on social media. Police have registered a drunk and drive case against her. During inspection, beer bottles were found in her car, and a breath analyzer test reportedly showed 140 points, confirming that she was driving under the influence.

According to locals, Lavanya attempted to flee the scene after the accident but was stopped by villagers, leading to a heated argument. Witnesses claim she asserted her celebrity status, questioned their authority to stop her, and allegedly issued threats citing political connections. She even warned of legal consequences if obstructed. Police reached the spot, brought the situation under control, seized the car, and shifted it to the Kondapur Police Station. Though she was expected to appear in court, she reportedly failed to attend, and the case is under investigation.
