
Mexico City, Today The death toll in the tragic military plane crash in Colombia’s Putumayo Department has risen to 66, according to official sources. The accident occurred after a C-130 military transport aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff. Earlier reports had confirmed 48 fatalities, but the latest updates indicate a significant increase. Among the deceased, 58 belonged to the national army, six were from the Colombian Aerospace Force, and two were members of the national police.
According to the latest information, there were 128 military personnel on board the aircraft. The plane reportedly crashed moments after taking off from Puerto Leguízamo in Putumayo. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown, and authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
